President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas has checked on the consulting units and projects to be implemented by the Consulting Research and Studies Institute  during his inspection visit today to the Institute's headquarters where he met with the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari in the presence of the Institute's Vice Dean for Development and Business Implementation Dr. Sahl bin Abdullah Waheeb, the  Institute's Vice Dean for Professional Accreditation Dr. Raed bin Abdurrahman Shalwala and a number of officials of the Institute.

During his inspection visit, Dr. Assas listened to an elaborate presentation by the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali Al-Shaari  about the five consulting units established by the institute  including; Engineering Training and Development Unit, Geographic Information System (GIS) for Training and Consultancy, Professional Development for Teachers and Educational Leaders Unit (PDTELU), Information Technology Unit for Consultancy and Training (ITUCT) and the Unit of Continuing Medical Education. Additionally, Dr. Al-Shaari also reviewed the projects and consultancy units to be implemented by the Institute in the future.  

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas praised the efforts exerted by those in charge of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute in implementing its plans and programs in the bid to achieve the national objectives for which the institute was established, in addition to its participation in achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Plan 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030. He also lauded the steps achieved by the Institute in this respect.

For his part, the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Dr. Ali Al-Shaari said the achievements made by the Institute comes as part of the support and attention paid by the UQU President Dr. Assas and his close follow up which helped the Institute to undertake its role in the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030. He prayed Allah to bestow success upon them and to help them serve the country as general and Umm Al-Qura University in particular.
