President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas has designated Dr. Ayman bin Abdul-Rahim bin Abdul-Qadir Al-Saygh as the Dean of Applied Medical Sciences College for a tenure of two years as of Rabi Al-Thani 14, 1439 H.
Advisor to UQU President, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi said that Dr. Assas' decision is part of the university's efforts to achieve goals of the comprehensive development and to bolster progress to achieve objectives, vision, and mission in a bid to lead the field with unique programs and activities under the umbrella of the Saudi Vision 2030. He added, the UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished him good luck in his new tenure and called upon him to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
On other hand, Dr. Assas met at his office today with the former Dean of Applied Medical Sciences College Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Ashi and lauded the dedicated efforts he exerted during his tenure in the college deanship, which contributed to the development and organization of the work, noting that these efforts had contributed positively to upgrade Umm Al-Qura University, thanks to Allah in the first place and then to the support attached to the university by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Then he wished Dr. A'shi all success in his future endeavors.
