Trainees have presented various ideas from the projects they were able to implement during their training period which continued for two weeks in a number of innovative aspects and business development.
The Dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Mowaffaq Arija said that the first training program is one of the activities of the Institute that is considered a continuation of the training, educational and qualifying programs on investment, innovation and entrepreneurship. These training programs have achieved great successes in the past few years, especially among university students, however, this year the training program was presented as an initiative from Umm Al Qura University, and was approved by the Ministry of Education to target middle and secondary school students (the basic stage). This will provide trainees with a practical investment, innovation and entrepreneurship environment. This will eventually help them come up with projects and ideas that can be developed into products in the future, which can become start-ups. He pointed out that more than 30 innovative ideas were reached through the training program.
For his part, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani Othman Ghazi, has expressed his pleasure to honor the trainees who have completed their training period in the program provided by the e-qualification and Training Center for Future Pioneers, which is affiliated to the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University.
