The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.
The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:
1- Designating Dr. Nassir bin Awad bin Saleh Al-Zahrani as the Head of Social Work Department in the College of Social Sciences for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 4, 1439 H;
2- Designating Dr. Hussein bin Hassan bin Hussein Abo Al-Reesh as the Vice Dean of College of Applied Sciences for Educational Affairs for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 6, 1439 H;
3- Designating Dr. Ibrahim bin Attiahtullah bin Hilal Al-Solami as the Vice Dean of College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for Training and Community Service for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 7, 1439 H, in addition to his work as the Head of History Department;
4- Designating Dr. Abdullah bin Fihaid bin Abdullah Al-Morki Al-Bogami as the Vice Dean of Adhm University College for Educational Affairs and Development for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 7, 1439 H;
5- Designating Prof. Osama bin Abdul-Rahman bin Amin Merghalani as the Head of Ophthalmology, nose, ear, throat and head and neck surgery in the College of Medicine for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 9, 1439 H;
6- Designating Dr. Salah bin Musa bin Saleh Falatta as the head of the Department of Orthopedics in the College of Medicine for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 9, 1439 H;
7- Designating Dr. Mohamed bin Rizqullah bin Mohamed Al-Solami as the Head of Law Department in the College Judicial Studies and Regulations for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 9, 1439 H;
8- Appointing the below mentioned employees as of Rabi Al-Thani 6, 1439 H;
Firstly: Mr. Faisal bin Darweesh bin Ahmed Al-Jazmi to work in the legal department.
Secondly: Mr. Mohamed bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Sagiyah to work as the director of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies.
9- Designating Dr. Maha bint Ghazai bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi as the Vice Dean of Sharia and Islamic Studies College for Training and Community Service, females section, for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Thani 7, 1439 H, in addition to her work as the deputy head of Islamic Studies Center in the college, females section;
10- Renewing mandate of Dr. Sharifa bint Esa bin Ali Al-Hazmi as the Vice Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College for Students Affairs, females section, for a tenure of two years as of Safar 27, 1439 H;
11- Designating Dr. Hiba bint Saeed bin Ahmed Bagadir Al-Amoudi as the Head of Bio Chemistry Department in the College of Medicine for a tenure of six months as of Rabi Al-Awal 6, 1439 H;
The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck in their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
