The UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Al-Assas lauded the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies strategy which is implemented in accordance with a prestigious scientific methodology by a highly qualified academic staff led by its dean Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Firaih, as well as a constellation of academic and administrative staffs of the related colleges and institutes represented by their deans who have created an integrated system of work aimed at upgrading postgraduate studies programs. 
 
This came during his meeting on Tuesday 24th of Sha'ban 1437H at his office in Abidiah, with the Dean of Postgraduate Studies, and deans of the concerned parties, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamer bin Hamdan al-Harbi. 
 
He added that steps adopted by the university specially with the ministry of education, and signing of memorandum of understanding with UQU represented by university vice presidency for business and innovation for setting programs and providing qualification and training for the affiliates of the ministry in the field of leadership and entrepreneurship to apply semester system of the secondary education and to provide necessary requirement to achieving its objective, is an evident that we are moving in the right direction. 
 
On his part the Dean of Postgraduate Studies Professor Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Firaih briefed the audience on the annual report of the postgraduate studies which included a number of statistics and mechanisms of implementing the transactions (22000 outgoing and 27000 incoming transactions). 
 
According to the report, the deanship is currently working on introducing a number of programs of higher diploma and MSc.

Prof. Al-Firahis attributed the ongoing progress in the deanship to Allah – first and foremost – and to the constant support and attention of the University President Dr. Bakri Al-Assas, the follow-up of UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamer bin Hamdan al-Harbi and the efforts exerted by deans of the concerned parties and colleagues in the deanship. After that, the honoring ceremony started.
