UQU President Receives Annual Report of UQU Vice Presidency and its Affiliated Departments

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas received at his office at the university campus in Abdyia the annual report of the UQU Vice Presidency and its affiliated departments from the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou. The report reviews the efforts exerted during the last two years (1436/1437)-(1437/1438). Present in the meeting was the Manager of the UQU Vice President's office Mr. Sameer Awan.   

 

On this occasion, the UQU Vice President valued the support attached to the university from the wise government in such manner which contributed to creating the proper educational and research environment in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He said the report reviewed achievements of the vice deanships at females section, centers, departments and units affiliating directly to the UQU Vice Presidency.

 

He explained that based on the support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas the UQU Vice Presidency has been very keen to become an effective member in achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030 in accordance with the National transformation Plan 20250 by such means of launching a number of initiatives coping with the objectives sought to be achieved by this ambitious vision represented in launching workplace training program for all the affiliates of the university amounting to 2670 employee  within the training program of the Administrative Development Unit in collaboration with the College of Community Service and Continuing Education  under the theme of " Boosting Skills of University Employees" including 6 programs distributed to 5  streams and 150 training course.

  

He added the program which will last for 750 days was intended to improve employees administrative skills via a mechanism based on field study during which the training needs are identified. He underscored that the administrative and organizational capacities of the administrative body of the university by granting tasks and authorities to the department directors to serve affiliates and visitors of the university as fast as possible.   


  
All the more, he said that all the university administrative transactions have become available online at a rate of 100% pointing out that number of affiliates interacting with the program from the affiliates of UQU Vice Presidencies, colleges, and supportive deanships amounted to more than 8 thousand users.

 

Concluding his speech. Dr. Yassir Shoushou praised support UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his lasting keenness to upgrade academic system in the university praising also efforts of the employees of the departments reporting to UQU Vice Presidency. 


For his part, UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas lauded the support attached to the university by the wise leadership in such manner which contributed to creating an attractive environment in the research and educational aspects at the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and l-Qunfudhah provinces. He also lauded efforts of the UQU Vice Presidency which contributed to serving the educational and research environment. "Services provided by the UQU Vice Presidency benefits about 120 thousand students and more than 7 thousand faculty members at the university main headquarter and its branches besides the university partners in the public And private sectors", he expounded.
