President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas honored today at his office at the university campus in Abdyia Dr. Anmar Nassir for the end of his tenure as the Dean of Medicine. The honoring came in recognition of his sincere efforts exerted during his tenure as the dean of the medicine college for three tenures lasted for six years.  

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas lauded efforts exerted by Dr. Anmar and wished him all success in his future endeavors praising the outstanding role undertaken by him during his educational and scientific march in the university serving his country and community.

For his part, Dr. Anmar expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Bakri Assas for this honoring describing such a thing as a noble gesture in dealing with all affiliates of this blessed university. He also extended his thanks to all the workers in the College of Medicine and all those in charge of this  lofty scientific edifice " Umm Al-Qura University", praying Allah to grant success to everyone. 

It should be mentioned here that, the College of Medicine made many achievements during the last period including; formation of professional team works inside the college with integrated skills and capable of moving forward to achieve more success depending on the sons of this cherished homeland to serve the holy land and our beloved Kingdom. The achievements included also obtaining the German Academic Accreditation for its programs besides the project of developing performance of faculty members and student through UCL agreement London University College, upgrading the college of medicine curricula to be equal to that of the medicine colleges in the top international universities, establishing medical simulation center, obtaining the Accreditation of American Heart Association to training program on CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in the simulation center, the volunteering program for Hajj and Umrah for students of the college of medicine, "Ghiras" project, an advanced initiative to provide training for the students of the college of medicine in all the teaching hospitals in the region, establishing social responsibility units to serving community using a professional manner, establishing evaluation unit in the college depending on the highest standards to evaluate performance of the students and supervise their exams, in addition to many other achievements.
