First: About the Competition:
The idea of the competition comes up to accord with the overall vision of Makkah that is adopted by his Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Prince of Makkah area, represented in (Human Construction and Environment Development Strategy), and Makkah Cultural Forum (with its slogan), How to be a role model?, comes to enhance it and achieve its objectives.
Within the forum events and after the success of the competition last year, the University Model Competition 2 kicks off to select two students, male and female; have traits and achievements that qualify them to be role models at the University level.

The Competition is held in two Stages:
First Stage:
1- Stage 1 starts on Sunday 9/2/1439, and ends on Thursday 20/6/1439.
2- Each college organizes a competition among its students to nominate one male and one female student as a “role model”, and they will represent the college during the second stage at the university level.
3- An attached form was designed to assess candidates according to specific criteria amounting to 1000 points,
4- The college forms a tripartite committee to select the male and female students representing the College, and get approval from the dean.
5- Each college nominates 2 male students and 2 female students (main and alternate)
6- If the main candidate refuses to join the second stage, the alternate candidate represents the college in the second stage.
7- The College selects the best 7 competitors to get (Role Model) title based on the highest marks in assessment. Then, every competitor, during the completion, introduces themselves and their achievements in no more than 7 minutes in front of the attendees and the judging panel, accredited by the college dean, in accordance with certain criteria similar to the second stage assessment criteria, and in the presence of the Students Affairs Deanship’s representative.
8- The results of the nomination shall be sent after approval by the college dean to the dean of Student Affairs during the period specified by the administrative communication program. (Attached is an assessment form along all the required attachments).
9- No nomination will be accepted from the colleges after the end of the period specified for the first stage.
10- Students who have already earned the title of "role model" in the university role model are not entitled to participate again.
Second Stage:
where each candidate gives his/her portfolio in a period not exceeding seven minutes in front of the public and in the presence of the jury from the Deanship according to specific criteria, and then three male winners and three female winners are selected.
1- Student Affairs Deanship organizes a competition between candidates earned (College role model).
2- An attached form was designed to assess candidates according to specific criteria of (200) points.
3- The deanship forms a judging panel according to specified criteria.
4- Every student introduces themselves and their achievements in no more than 7 minutes in front of the attendees and the judging panel.
5- Points of second criterion of the first stage (academic excellence - 200) are to be added to the grades of the jury (200). The final results points for nominations are (400).
6- Those male and female students who get highest marks in the second stage will win the first 3 places at the university level for male students, and other 3 places for female students.
