Center of e-qualification for Future Pioneers affiliated to the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University organized training programs in the themes: Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship in a number of Makkah schools within the initiative of the Institute to provide training and qualification for the students of the general education.
The training programs covered training on innovation and creativity operations in terms of concepts, levels, motives, phases, and fields besides displaying samples for innovators and entrepreneurs. The program also included practical side represented in the application of tools and strategies of innovation and creativity besides several practical events and activities which promote and develop innovation and creativity skills amongst the targeted groups.
The Dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dr. Mowfaq bin Mohamed Oreijah said the Center of e-qualification for Future Pioneers is one of the initiatives of the National transformation Program 2020 launched by the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the series of initiatives targeting system of innovation and creativity in the primary phase of education.
He added that these initiatives include services of qualification and training for students and instructors, supporting transfer of student projects into innovative products in the first stages and into startups in the advanced stages within the university mission in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship which is getting boundless support from the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi.
At the conclusion of his speech Dr. Oreijah praised the cooperation of the General Directorate of Education in Makkah in organizing such training programs which contribute to honing and instilling innovative skills amongst students.
