President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas has received the research plan of Al-Lith Health Sciences College from the Dean of the College Dr. Tariq bin Abdullah Zhafer in the presence of the college vice deans. The meeting took place at the president's office in Abdyia campus.
During the meeting, the Dean of Al-Lith Health College Dr. Tariq Zhafer praised the efforts exerted by the UQU President for the support and concern he attaches to the college in addition to his enduring follow-up to all the programs and activities of the college in the health, research, academic, capacity support and utilizations fields besides the health awareness programs adopted by the college.
He explained that the research plan guide includes the college's role and action plan to achieve researches and scientific studies and the college's outstanding role in supporting researchers and specialists from the affiliates of the college including faculty members and students. He went on to add that the college works to provide the utmost quality standards in the educational and research process besides the services provided for the male and female students and Al-Lith province community.
For his part, the UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas lauded the efforts undertaken by Al-Lith Health College and its counterparts in Makkah and other branches of the university in upgrading the educational and research environment. He added that the Health Sciences College has received 250 students including 40 intern students representing the first batch of the college students indicating that the college is very keen to make its academic majors compatible with the requirements of the labor market in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
