University President honored Dr. Musa Sabh Al Bisy Secretary of the Commission of Fourth Standard (Education and Learning) and the general supervisor of Educational Follow-Up Unit, and the member of teaching staff at the Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture. The President also honored Dr. Abdel Mon'em Abdel Rahman Abbas Mahmoud Secretary of the High Permanent Committee of Curricula and Study Plans, and the general supervisor of the Curricula and Study Plans Unit, and member of the teaching staff at the Department of Electric Engineering at the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture. The honoring ceremonies were attended by Vice-President for Educational Affairs Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Srouji at the office of the University President in Al-Abdiyah.
Dr. Srouji asserted that the Educational Follow-Up Unit has participated in collaboration with the Information Deanship in creating and preparing educational follow-up programs to facilitate the mechanism of meeting the needs of academic departments of teaching staff, language teachers, administrative employees, and technicians. The unit participates as well in the proper use of resources, and human resources yielding positive results on the academic and economic statuses, in addition to providing renewable data for human resources at academic departments.
Moreover, he added that the Curricula and Study Plans Committee is concerned with following the improvement, reviewing, and setting study plans at the University. He stated that the unit prepared procedural manual for academic programs as about 40 programs have been improved including 29 new educational plans and programs, in addition to uniting the educational plans between the main campus and the branches concerning 12 educational programs. Additionally, he pointed out that the requests of establishing new colleges have been automated according to the bonus points system n accordance with the standards of the ministry of Education. Dr. Srouji did not miss to commend the keenness of Dr. Bakri Assas on honoring the prominent figures that serve knowledge.
Dr. Bakri Assas in turn paid tribute to the efforts exerted by Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs to serve the educational and academic system. He also commended the effort of the honored figures for the precious services they paid for the educational and study plans follow-up at the University.
