UQU Hosts 10th KSA Nursing Deans Meeting

Represented by the College of Nursing, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) will host the Tenth Meeting of the Nursing Colleges Deans in the Saudi Universities. The meeting will be held on Thursday, 28th Muharram 1439H at King Faisal Hall, the University City in Abediyah.

In this regard, Dr. Ayman Al-Jawaherji, Dean of the College of Nursing, explained that the recommendations of the previous meeting would be demonstrated in the 10th meeting. Moreover, many academic and research topics related to the Nursing Colleges would be discussed. In addition to that, the Nursing Colleges and the Ministry of Education would cooperate in order to implement several agreements with foreign universities. He added that the meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between nursing colleges and departments, which would be reflected positively in their students and the programs offered to them.     

In the same context, Dr. Ayman Al-Jawaherji confirmed that the College of Nursing at UQU has been working to graduate distinguished and professional competencies in the domain of nursing, to serve their community and homeland. He also commended the support and interest given by Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), to all the College’s programs and businesses.   

It is noteworthy that the Committee of Nursing Colleges Deans in the Saudi Universities is concerned with planning for the future of nursing, upgrading the profession and exchanging experiences among universities.
