UQU President Takes 8 Administrative Decisions

The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken 8 administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

  1. Renewing mandate of Dr. Suhail S. al-Harbi as Vice Dean of Designs College for a tenure of two years, as of Muharram 23, 1439H;
  2. Renewing mandate of Dr. Ayman A. Eskandar as Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, Colleg of Medicine, for a tenure of two years, as of Muharram 20, 1439H;
  3. Designating Dr. Shadi M. Munshi as Vice Dean of the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture for Traning and Industrial Relations Affairs for a tenure of six months as of Ramadan 13, 1438H;
  4. Designating Dr. Maimoon A. al-Salmi as Head of the Department of Arabic Teachers Qualification, Institute of Arabic Language for non-Native Speakers, for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 20, 1439H;
  5. Designating Dr. Nuwair S. Bajaber as Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudah (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months as of Muharram 12, 1439H;
  6. Designating Dr. Shorouq W. al-Raddadi as Vice Dean of the University College in al-Leith for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research (Girls Section), for a tenure of two years, as of Muharram 20, 1439H;
  7. Renewing mandate of Dr. Haifaa H. Hejazi as Head of the Department of Clinical Nutrition, College of Applied Medical Sciences, for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 2, 1439H; in addition to her position as an academic supervisor at the college; and
  8. Designating Ms. Majda A. Saeed as Head of the Department of Domestic Education, al-Qunfudah University College (Girls Section), for a tenure of six months as of Dhul-Qe'da 9, 1438H.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target..
