60 Trainees from Facilities Security Forces at Community Service Training Program

The College of Community Service and Continuing Education at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) launched the training program for 60 trainees from Facilities Security Forces in Makkah Region. The program included the domains of computer applications and maintenance, and strategic planning. It is scheduled to last for four months, at the College’s training rooms at UQU headquarters in Azizia.

Dr. Khaled bin Yusuf Barqawi, Dean of the College, appreciated the trust given by Facilities Security Forces in Makkah Region in the training and educational abilities and capacities of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, noting that the program would target 60 trainees. He also appreciated the unending support and directions given by the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, for the programs offered by the College to a number of governmental and private bodies, as part of the social responsibility of the University.

In turn, Dr. Nader Abdurraziq Yali, Vice-Dean for Programs and Activities and Head of the Training Department, said that the program was offered three hours per week, through two training packages: computer applications and maintenance, and strategic planning. He added that each of the packages comprised 30 trainees.
