The University President Receives a Copy of the Scholarship Guide

            His excellency the University President Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas received a copy of the scholarship guide prepared by the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research reprsented by the Scholarships Department.

The President received the copy on Thursday Muharrah 1st 1439 A.H. upon receiving the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan al-Harbi in Al-Abdiyah. The reception was attended by the Head of the Scholarship Department Dr. Ahmed bin Yusuf Barqawi, and Scholarship Department director Mr. Wael Shaldoom.

The University President listened to an explanation by Dr. Ahmed Barqawi about scholarship guide, and the information included in the guide concerning the importance of scholarships, the role played by scholarships department, the work mechanism at the department, scholarship categories and the regulations, the procedures required for having a scholarship file, the search for foreign universities, the issuance of the executive decision for scholarship, and the procedures required for the student in the country where his scholarships is such as: having a file at the missionary, the graduation procedures and dues, the graduation procedures at the cultural missionary, and the mechanism of the student and graduation entitlements, the finishing of the file at the missionary after graduation, and the mechanism of returning and resuming study at the university.    

The University President Dr. Bakry Assas commended the role played by the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the scholarship department for their contributions through the different departments with the other concerned bodies in activation and developing the services provided for the the university students obtaining scholarship and for facilitating all the processes wishing them success and excellency.
