Supreme Supervisory Committee of the Profession Day Conducts its First Meeting:

The Supreme Supervisory Committee of the Profession Day organized by UQU during the academic year 1438/1439 A.H. conducted its first meeting. The Profession Day is organized for the graduated students of the academic years 1437/1438 A.H. and 1438/1439 A.H., in addition to the graduates of the Saudi universities in cooperation with the private sector. The meeting is the first coordinating meeting and is headed by  Dr. Hany bin Othman bin Yassin Ghazi, the Vice President for Academic Development and Community Services and Vice-President for Business & Innovation; Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Srouji, Vice-President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) for Educational Affairs; and the committee members. The meeting was attended as well by Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al Amoudi, Dean of Undergraduate Studies (Girls Section) via closed television network. The meeting was held at conference of the University President office in Al-Abdiyah.

 At the onset of the meeting Dr. Hany bin Othman bin Yassin Ghazi, the Vice President for Academic Development and Community Services welcomed the attendants expressing his sincere wishes of success for the staff and the committees working on the events of the meeting that in concerned with the graduates and that aids in providing job opportunities that match their qualifications. He pointed out that the meeting is primarily concerned with the male and females University graduates and all other graduates in Mekka and KSA.

 Dr. Hany bin Othman Ghazi declared that a number of private and public sector companies have participated in the meeting proceedings. pointing out that the meeting includes holding some workshops and training courses to qualify the graduates to write and draft their C.V. and acquire the required skills for passing work interviews, in addition to how to get prepared to the Profession Day. Additionally, the inventors and entrepreneurs are going to present their successful experiences in small projects. Dr. Hany stated also that the meeting encompasses all University sectors: the colleges, assisting deanships, various departments with their graduates, commending the support and guidance of Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas, the university president to haold the events of this meeting.
