 First-Years Students Forum to Kick off Tomorrow

Under the sponsorship of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, the activities of the 3rd Forum of First-Year Students for the year 1438 H to kick off tomorrow Monday under the slogan of "a Story of Success". The forum which is organized by the Deanship of Students Affairs, will last for three days and will take place at King Saud Hall in Abdyia campus.   

Meanwhile, Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Taha bin Amro Al-Saggaf said the university represented by the Deanship of Students Affairs has been perseverant every year in receiving the male and female students of the first-year who joined its different colleges and the 3rd first year student forum is a program held by the Deanship to introduce the university life for the new students and provide them with information about the university and its rules, regulations and services.    


He added that the forum is intended to educate students and inform them about their  university rights and duties to be aware of such a thing throughout their study period in the university, pointing out that  the Deanship adopts slogan of (Student First) as an approach. " the deanship always seeks to serve students and provide them with the needed assistance given that transparent environment motivates students to creativity and achievements", he expounded.   

 

Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Saggaf said the objectives of the Deanship of Students Affairs are based on several values dealing with students as the focus of  its concern and partners of success depending on continuous development and creative solutions. "Our services are focused on  student counselling and guidance, student training, providing care for students with special needs, discipline and protecting rights of male and female students, cultural activities, sport activities, transportation, nutrition and rewards", he elaborated.
