Under the auspices of UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Ma'touq Assas, the Deanship of student Affairs holds the third freshmen forum for students of the year 1438 H under the theme, Story of Success from 27 to 29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1438 H at King Saud Hall - Abbideya Campus.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amr bin Taha Al-Saqaf stated that the deanship ensures welcoming freshmen ever year, noting that the third freshmen forum is a program organized to introduce students to academic life and provide them with information on UQU, its regulations, bylaws and services.
He added that the event aims to raise students' awareness of their academic duties and rights, pointing out that the deanship's motto is "Student First" and that it makes sure to serve and support all students, facilitating a healthy environment for them to create and accomplish.
In this respect, Al-Saqaf maintained that the deanship objectives are based on several values that revolve around students as the main concern and partners to success. The deanship strives for continuous development and creative solutions in offering its services, including: student orientation and guidance, training, discipline, special needs support, student rights protection, cultural and sports activities, scholarships, student transportation, rewards, and student meals.
