On Tuesday, Ramadan 25, 1438H, Dr. Bakri M. Assas, UQU President and Executive Director of Makkah TechnoValley, met with founders of Makkah TechnoValley startups, during a visit he paid to the Company. Present in the meeting was Dr. Faisal Allaf, Executive Manager of Makkah TechnoValley, as well as a number of TechnoValley officials.
The meeting touched on a number of issues, including achievements of startups, the new innovations to be developed into start-up companies in the future. Additionally, results of the exhibition recently held in France were discussed. Aside from that, the equipment and services of the building were reviewed, in anticipation for students' field training.
Dr. Assas stated that, thanks be to Allah, Makkah TechnoValley startups work as planned, as per a distinguished strategy for promoting creativity, entrepreneurship and knowledge economics. On this occasion, he thanked Makkah TechnoValley team for the unstinting efforts they exert to develop a knowledge economy environment for entrepreneurs.
For his part, Dr. Faisal Allaf, the Executive Director of Makkah TechnoValley, extended profound thanks to the UQU President, and to the Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service and Acting Vice President for Creativity and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani O. Ghazi, for their unstinting support for all founders of Makkah TechnoValley startups, and for the keen interest they show in Makkah TechnoValley activities, so as to go in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
