Dr. Jamil Zafar passed away. He is the brother of Dr. Abul Raziq Zafar from the College of Education, father of Dr. Bassim Zafar from the Custodian of Two holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Uncle of the Dean of Al-Lith Health Sciences College Dr. Tariq Zafar and Father of the Wife of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji. Funeral prayers will be performed in the Grand Mosque after Zhuhur Prayer on Tuesday Ramadan 11, 1438 H and the deceased will be buried in al-Mu'alla cemetery.

Meanwhile, President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas expressed his deepest condolences and solace to the family of the deceased and prayed Allah the almighty to have mercy upon the deceased and make the paradise his final abode.
