UQU President Checks on e-Clearance Service for University Affiliates

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas on Sunday Ramadan 9, 1438 H checked on e-Clearance service for the university affiliates carried out by the Deanship of Information Technology. Present in the meeting were UQU Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi, UQU Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji, Dean of Information Technology Dr. Majid Al-Qathami, Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Saleh Al-Firaih, Vice Deans of Information Technology and Students Affairs and the representatives of Oracle Company.  

 

During the meeting, Dr. Assas listened to an elaborate presentation by the Dean of Information Technology Dr. Majid Al-Qathami on the new service which enables different departments of the university to approve clearance requests submitted by students and affiliates without the need to visit the concerned department by the service seeker.  

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas explained that the university has made great strides in developing  e-portal services in accordance with the directives and visions of the wise leadership, pointing out that the university is very keen to provide and develop the e-services according to the highest standards and specifications using the most easy ways to serve the university male and female affiliates. 

 

For his part, UQU Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi praised the efforts exerted by the Deanship of Information Technology adding that such achievements would not have been possible without the support of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and then the efforts of the Dean of Information Technology Dr. Majid Al-Qathami and his team members praising the concerted efforts of all parties of the university.
