UQU President Checks on Progress of Written Exams for 1450 Students

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas checked on progress of second semester's exams for the academic year 1437/1438 H for the students of the preparatory year in the scientific and administrative streams amounting up to 1450 students at King Saud Hall in Abdyia. He was accompanied by the Dean of Preparatory Year Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi.  

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas said that exams are set to differentiate between all male and female students in the preparatory year program in the medical, scientific and administrative streams, pointing out that student at this level will take an exam to figure out his eligibility to the stream he wishes to join, in case of not achieving the required degree, he will be given a chance to join any other department not included in the preparatory year program in the university. He then wished students all success and lauded efforts exerted by the Deanship of Preparatory Year.  

 

For his part, Dean of Preparatory Year Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi said that male and female students of the preparatory year are doing their exams at the same time at the males section in Abdyia, females section at Al-Shisha and the branches of the preparatory year at Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah. He added that number of students taking the exam is 1450 student in Abdyia, 845 female student in Al-Shisha and 450 male and female students at the university branches at Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah.


He valued the support attached to the Deanship of Preparatory Year by the UQU President Dr. Assas and the continuous follow up of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji, thus leading the deanship to undertake its assigned tasks efficiently and fortify its educational role at this lofty scientific edifice the University of Umm Al-Qura.
