Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) will honor the President of Al-Baha University Dr. Nabeel Abdul Qadir Koshak for his contribution to building innovation and entrepreneurship system in Umm Al-Qura University during his tenure in the Vice presidency of Business and Innovation and on the occasion of the issuance of the royal decree appointing him as the President of Al-Baha University. The honoring ceremony will take place at King Abdul-Aziz historical hall at the university campus in Abdyia on Wednesday Sha'ban 21, 1438 H in the presence of the UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, ex- UQU Presidents, UQU Vice Presidents, Deans of the colleges and Institutes and the heads of the scientific departments.
Meanwhile, Dr. Assas explained that honoring of the president of Al-Baha University Dr. Nabeel Abdul Qadir Koshak on the occasion of the issuance of the royal decree assigning him as the president of Al-Baha University in recognition of his blessed efforts during his tenure as the UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation and his outstanding role together with his other colleges in boosting system of work in the vice presidency and his contribution to building and establishing the Consulting Research and Studies Institute, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute and the Office of Intellectual Property and the achievements resulted from these institutions which include also registering of more than 100 patents and establishing of Wadi Makkah Company which has products now in the market. He added that Dr. Koshak has contributed significantly in setting up concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst male and female youth of Umm Al-Qura University leading to the emergence of several innovations and inventions which were registered for the benefit of the university via the patents office. Dr. Assas then praised the creative cadres available at umm Al-Qura university.
For his part, UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Sulaeiman Shoushou said that honoring of the President of Al-Baha University Dr. Koshak is an extension of the university efforts in honoring its creative figures and outstanding pioneers who provided their sincere efforts and time to serve their religion, nation and community.
