The Head of Media Department at Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Mohamed Hindiah launched on Tuesday Sha'ban 13, 1438 H, the Media Corners Exhibition at the females section. Present in the launching ceremony were Vice Dean of Social Sciences Dr. Khalid Al-Sharif faculty members at media department including; Dr. Ahmed Mnasour, Dr. Faisal Al-Shimairi, Dr. Al-Ameer Al-Sahsah, Dr. Wadei Al-Azizi, Mr. Harim Khaimi, Mr. Saeed Al-Matrafi and a group of female students parents. The event took place at Al-Jawhara Hall at the Al-Zahir headquarters. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Hindiah explained that the exhibition showcases all works of the students in the theoretical and applied subjects throughout the year including; media campaigns, awareness bulletins,  documentary films,  photo galleries carried out by the department in the service of our beloved country and the university community.

On this occasion, Dr. Hindiah extended his thanks and appreciation to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his support to the department activities.  He also thanks the Dean of Social Sciences College Dr. Mohamed BaSagr for his unerring directives and to the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi for sponsoring the exhibition , together with  the Deputy Head of the Department Dr. Enaam Shouaibi and female faculty members of the department.
