His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, and the UQU vice presidents and affiliates extend their best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect them both, as well as the royal family and the Saudi people on the occasion of the 91st National Day.
The University President said: “On this day every year, our loyalty and affiliation to the Saudi Kingdom and its great kings are renewed. We thank Allah for what He has bestowed on our blessed country of security, prosperity and stability under a rational leadership that has built a firm path of glory since the unification of the land of the Arabian Peninsula at the hands of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may he rest in peace, and the kings from among his sons who followed his path.”
The UQU President added: “The celebration of the homeland is manifested in being resolute in creating a bright future, with the determination of the country’s young men and women, feeling a sense of true patriotism, having sincere intentions to promote the advancement of this blessed country, and performing our work tasks well, according to the specializations and the position of our work. This is the right of our country upon us, in order to be able to celebrate its high status and progress throughout the ages.” He emphasized that both school and university education have received care and attention from the wise leadership, from the time of the Founder King to the era of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him.
The UQU Vice President, Dr. Farid Al-Ghamdi, highlighted the pivotal role the Saudi Kingdom plays and its influence globally, due to the wisdom and firmness of its leaders in making decisions and managing various issues. Moreover, the Vice President for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, stated that the successive achievements made by the kingdom laid the foundations of leadership according to an ambitious vision that the different sectors have worked to achieve, adapting its technical and scientific capabilities to motivate the people of the country to innovate and compete globally.
The UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Amer Al-Zaidi, pointed out that the educational development process that the country has witnessed during the past 91 years confirms the keenness of the wise leadership to build human thought and equip the people with the necessary skills, in order to enable them to work towards the construction and prosperity of the land in various fields.
The UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Fahd Al-Zahrani, said that the kingdom has given researchers great attention and support in various fields, in order to contribute, in turn, to serving their country with their scientific research. It has also motivated them to participate in the containment of crises. As a result, the kingdom topped the Arab countries in the production of coronavirus research, ranking 17th in the world.
The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Wardah Al-Asmari, highlighted the keenness of the wise leadership to empower and support women, to contribute, in their turn, to decision-making and leadership positions, in order to achieve development gains for the country in the economic, social and scientific fields. Women have proven their superiority in the tasks entrusted to them in the service of their country, in accordance with the framework of the Islamic Shari`ah which came to maintain their position.
