Director of Planning and Development in Makkah Emirate Inaugurates Training Program of Work Ethics, Value and Quality

Director General of Planning and Development at Makkah Emirate Dr. Faisal bin Ghazi Al-Hazmi opened on Tuesday Sha'ban 6, 1438 H the first batch of the training program for 35 employees from 14 government agencies in Makkah in the fields of works ethics, management, value, employee's personal quality under the umbrella of Makkah Emirate's project of  "How to be a Role Model", organized by Umm Al-Qura University represented by the College of Community Service and Continuing Education from Sha'ban 6 to 22, 1438 H at King Faisal hall at the university campus in Abdyia.  

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Hazmi said launching of the management and value program under the umbrella of the project of "How to be a Role Model", adopted by Makkah Emirate under sponsorship of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal represents a conclusion of an year filled with programs and activities under the umbrella of Makkah Cultural Forum held under slogan of "How to be a Role Model". He then lauded keenness of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to implement such program inside the university indicating that the first batch of the program  includes 35 employees from 14 government service and security agencies in Makkah and he wished them fruitful program of benefit for their  working life. 

 

He was followed by the Vice Dean of College of Community Service and Continuing Education, the Head of Training Department Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi who said that training has become a multidimensional process in which the teaching,  educational and professional processes are overlapped and in the contemporary concept it means acquiring knowledge, guiding trends and practicing skills. He then branded Umm Al-Qura University as an outstanding academic pyramid with distinctive potentials, expertise and competencies capable of carrying out the training in a professional and effective manner as such it was very keen to stand up to the needed aspirations and competitiveness and to forge successful partnerships with the different sectors.      

   

Further, he said  implementing this program in three groups comes in activation of the solid partnership between the university and Makkah Emirate in which the college provides a number of training programs for the affiliates of Makkah Emirate and other government agencies in Makkah to activate slogan of " How to be a Role Model", in the bid to achieving requirements of the strategic objectives of the project and the training programs which include work ethics, management, value and personal quality of the employee.   

 

Moreover, Dr. Al-Otaibi  said these programs are designed to figure out the relation and impact of individuals and organization value depending work ethics, personal quality and productive management besides understanding the impact of ethical values on the performance of the individuals and organizations.

 

 He then praised support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his lasting keenness to achieve university mission in serving the community. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to Dean of College of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Khalid Barqawi and all the affiliates of the College.

 

It is worth mentioning that the training program will be held for three groups of 30 each. The first training course will be held from Sha'ban 6-8, 1438 H, the second one from Sha'ban 13-15, 1438 H and the third one from Sha'ban 20-22, 1438 H.
