Community College and Makkah Emirate Organize Training Programs under Umbrella of

Umm Al-Qura University represented by College of Community Service and Continuing Education in collaboration with Makkah Emirate represented by the General Department of Planning and Development will organize a training program for 90 of the affiliates of the emirate and government agencies in the region, in the period from Sha'ban 6-22, 1438 H at King Faisal Hall at the university campus in Abdyia. The training which will be held under the umbrella of Makkah Emirate project of " How to be a role model", will cover the fields of work ethics, value-based management and personal quality of the employee. 

 


Meanwhile, the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Khalid Barqawi valued the confidence entrusted by Makkah Emirate on the outputs of Umm Al-Qura University represented by the College of Community Service and Continuing Education to organize three training programs for 90 employees from the affiliates of the emirate and government agencies in the region in the fields of work ethics, value-based management and personal quality of the employee. He underlined that the college has an outstanding capabilities, expertise and competencies capable of conducting the training program in a highly professional manner.   

 

He went on to add that the training package to be provided for the trainees includes how to increase value of ethics at work, consolidate job ethics and promote job discipline, besides the direct scientific applied skills which will open new prospects for the employees in the administrative work and will help themachieve excellence in their work  with the least effort and best performance. He added that the training programs to be held are designed to figure out the relation and impact of individuals and organization value depending on work ethics, personal quality and productive management besides understanding the impact of ethical values on the performance of individuals and organizations.

Dr. Barqawi then praised support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and his lasting keenness to organize such training programs and to participate effectively in standing up to the university's community mission.    
   


Within the same vein, the vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing  Education and the Head of Training Department, Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi said the program will be held for 90 trainees who will be divided into three groups of 30 each. The first training course, he said will be held from Sha'ban 6-8, 1438 H, the second one from Sha'ban 13-15, 1438 H and the third one from Sha'ban 20-22, 1438 H.

 

He indicated that the outputs of these program will help the trainees to move confidently towards creativity  and will provide them with the skills of work ethics and job adjustment.

 

He  then lauded close follow-up of the college dean Dr. Khalid Barqawi and his keenness to implement these programs in accordance with the highest quality standards. He also extended his thanks to the Director of Planning and Development in Makkah Emirate Dr. Faisal bin ghazi Al-Hazmi, pointing out that such training programs are based on the joint cooperation between the two parties and act as an initiative which will contribute to the administrative development of the affiliates of Makkah Emirate and government agencies in the region  by such mean of providing training for their affiliates and achieve requirements of strategic objectives for the project of "How to be a Role Model".
