Umm Al-Qura University announced the admission procedures and dates for high school graduates wishing to enroll in bachelor's programs and Community College diplomas for the academic year 1443 A.H. through the Unified Admission Portal. The admission begins on 1 Dhul-Qi`dah and will continue for 27 days.
The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Khaled Al-Thaqafi, said that the admission procedures pass through 5 electronic steps that start with the opening of the admission portal and end with admission confirmation, with registration of personal data and the opening of profiles allowed from now. During the admission stage, applications are submitted and specializations selected, and procedures of examinations and personal interviews, for disciplines that require these, are conducted. He noted the importance of ensuring that the marks for the General Aptitude Test and the achievement test are recorded when applying for admission. It should be noted that there will be no priority for those who submitted applications early, as the differentiation process depends on the weighted percentage and the available seats according to the conditions and controls announced in the admission guide.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Thaqafi said that the tests and personal interviews will be held during the period 1–14 of the coming Dhul-Hijjah. The results of the initial admission will be announced on the 22nd of Dhul-Hijjah. Candidates must confirm their acceptance by entering the admission portal during the period 22–26 of Dhul-Hijjah, for their university numbers to be issued immediately.
The Dean of Admission and Registration stated that admission to the preparatory year programs and paid diplomas will be available to applicants starting from 7–13 Muharram in the coming year, 1443 A.H. The results of admission to these programs will be announced on 17 Muharram, 1443 A.H. Candidates are required to complete the admission procedures from 17–23 Muharram 1443 A.H.
