The Department of English invites you to attend the student exhibition on Literature and Mental Health (October 10) which will showcase the work of students from the Department, highlighting various representations of mental health across different literary genres. The event aims to:

contribute to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by improving quality of life and fostering a comprehensive healthy environment for all.
Students will explore the profound connections between literature, mental health, and the human experience. Our goal is to raise awareness about mental illness through a literary lens, highlighting how writers and poets have confronted, understood, and expressed mental health challenges in ways that promote inclusivity, compassion, and resilience.
We invite students, staff, and faculty members of UQU (female section) to attend this enriching event and engage with these themes, fostering dialogue and a greater appreciation for the complex relationships between mental health and the arts.

Language: Students are required to present their work in English. However, they will be happy to discuss their work in Arabic with attendees who are not members of the Department of English and do not speak English.
