This workshop aims to introduce students to some of the basics that they need to keep in mind when writing stories. The instructor will help students understand the importance of selecting the narrative voice and the point of view. She will also delve into matters such as characterization, consistency and the art for art's sake question. Finally, the instructor will introduce students to some simple ways they can employ to receive feedback on their stories and to get them published.
