The College of Pharmacy was established in the academic year 1427/1428 A.H. The Department of Clinical Pharmacy is one of the five scientific departments of the college. It endeavors to produce a new generation of qualified pharmacy graduates who have special skills in pharmaceutical care, with a view to obtaining a better level of health services. This will be achieved by providing the student in the pharmacy college with valuable information on pharmacology, the economics of medicine, and pharmacoepidemiology, to ensure the safety of the patient.
To achieve such a high quality of health services, the department focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of clinical pharmacology inside the university and in the teaching hospitals in the region, in order to improve the clinical skills of the students under the supervision of a large network of highly qualified consultants.
