Abstract
This study aimed to shed light on the role of digital awareness publications in achieving the objectives of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study employed survey methodology, using content analysis applied to a sample of 24 publications provided by the Ministry on its website. These digital publications are divided into 17 general and 7 guides specifically for Muslim pilgrims in the Arab region. The results revealed that these publications are available in a large number of languages, serving most people worldwide (16 languages in total). They also utilize numerous real images, graphics, QR codes, and interactive maps to maximize user benefit. Furthermore, also these publications are characterized by their high-quality design and the ability to listen to, download, read, and share their content. In terms of content, the study revealed that the most prominent topics in the awareness guides were the rituals of Hajj and Umrah, as well as topics related to the holy sites and landmarks of Mecca and Medina. Furthermore, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah focused on legal, cybersecurity, and health awareness for Muslim pilgrims through a range of specialized topics
