Abstract
The research idea focused on the role of institutional volunteer work in developing the volunteer's personality in its psychological, health, social and professional dimensions. The study was applied to Al-Bir Charity in Al-Kharj City. A social survey method was used, the data were collected by using a questionnaire prepared by the researcher for this purpose of research, and its validity and reliability were verified. The research reached a number of results, the most prominent of which is that institutional volunteer work plays a role in improving the volunteer's mental health and reducing some chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Institutional volunteer work also plays a role in providing the volunteer with new social and professional skills. In light of the results reached by this research, it was recommended that it is important to spread the culture of institutional volunteering among individuals, and to urge institutions to encourage their employees to volunteer with other institutions to gain new experiences that help them innovate and renew their work. Another recommendation is to encourage specialists in the treatment of certain psychological and behavioral disorders to spread the culture of institutional volunteering to reduce certain psychological illnesses and protect people from certain health conditions, particularly those related to psychological and social stress.
