Abstract
Many countries development their societies by improve the performance of social organizations, also the countries focusing for the knowledge management strategy to investigation the organization's mission in providing its services efficiently and high quality to the beneficiaries of individuals and the advancement of society, as the Arab countries in general are still in the process of development in this field. However, the study aimed to measure the role of knowledge management in the development of organizational creativity in social organizations, The study relied on the methodological descriptive. The study used social survey by a non-random sample method, whose number was (87) individuals from the board of directors at Wadi Makkah Company at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. The study concluded many results, the most important of which were that: The weighted general average of the level of the role of knowledge management was (3.39) for the development of organizational creativity in social organizations, which is a high level, with a percentage of: (85%-87%).One of the methods of activating knowledge management to develop organizational creativity in social organizations is to communicate with the supporting parties and establish training programs.The existence of challenges that limit the role of knowledge management to develop organizational creativity, the first of which is the lack of a written policy to motivate employees, followed by the low awareness of senior leaders in knowledge management. The research came out with a proposed vision to activate the role of knowledge management to develop organizational creativity in social organizations.
