Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify effective indicators for measuring learning outcomes in social service pro-grams and to develop a model for measuring these outcomes, which include (knowledge and understanding, skills, values, and responsibility). This study employed a descriptive methodology using a social survey ap-proach with a sample size of 33 faculty members who specialize in social service in Saudi universities. A ques-tionnaire was used as the data collection tool, and the results showed agreement among faculty members on a set of important knowledge, skills, and values to be measured as learning outcomes for students in social ser-vice programs at universities, as well as the mechanisms for measuring these outcomes. The study produced a model that illustrates the most important indicators and measurement methods from the perspective of faculty members. The study also provided several recommendations that can contribute to the development of social service programs, enhance the learning experience for students, and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively practice social work.
