Abstract
This research reveals the secret behind the name of the Qur’anic surah. This research aims to prove the name of the Qur’anic surah, and also, to show the connection between the name of the surah - the most famous flag - in terms of Linguistic semantics on one hand, and its intended and goal on the other hand. In addition, this research aims to demonstrate the unity of purpose in the Qur’anic surah, and to illustrate that the multiplicity of topics in the Qur’anic surah does not mean their disintegration, as the Orientalists claim. The research also responds to the suspicion, that says: The arrangement of the verses was done by the Com-panions, by proving the interconnection of the multiple topics under one goal. Also, the name of the Qur’anic surah explains the repetition in Quranic stories in terms of the difference in purpose in each surah, and also reveals the faces of occasions in Qur’anic surahs. This research will study the Surah of Ash-Shu'ara to explain the reason for naming it. Also, to show that the topics of the surah serve one goal and the name of the surah accurately expresses this goal.
