This research is about the Study and verification book: Tariq al-Asbihani wama khalaf fih al-Azraq by Abu Al-Izz Zain Al-Din Qasim bin Ahmad bin Hassan Al-Sindifai. In studying this manuscript, I examined some of the foundations used in studying and verifying heritage books, including: identifying its author, attributing this book to him, and explaining his approach to it, while highlighting the scientific value of this book. Then I followed this by producing and verifying the text. The research method required adherence to the historical method in some parts, and the descriptive inductive method in others. In his book, the author mentioned eleven chapters of the principles in which Al-Asbahani disagreed with Al-Azraq about Warsh, which are: Chapter on the basmala, Chapter on the Hā’ of eu-phemism, Chapter on madd (extending) and qasr (shortening), Chapter on the two hamzas from a word, Chapter on the two hamzas from two words, Chapter on the single hamza, Chapter on naql of the vowel of hamza, Chapter on fath and imala (tilting), chapter on feminine Hā’ in pauses, chapter on attached ya’at, and chapter on additional ya’at. This book has a high value that lies in its author’s control and mastery of the methods of recitations, the scarcity of those who have written on this subject, and the fact that he collected his material from the most important books of Qur'anic modes of recitation.
