This study focuses on compiling the chain-supported (musnad) hadiths that mention the attribute of Allah's laughter, extracting them from hadith collections, examining their chains of transmission (isnāds), and evaluating their authenticity based on hadith criticism principles, while outlining the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā‘ah regarding this attribute. The study employs an inductive approach toward the hadith texts. The significance of the research lies in the fact that Allah's attribute of laughter is among the divine attributes established through evidence in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), though it is not explicitly mentioned in the Book of Allah. Following compilation, the hadiths regarding the attribute of Allah's laughter were divided into two main categories: the first comprises hadiths recorded in the two Sahihs or either of them, including five musnad hadiths; the second comprises hadiths recorded outside the two Sahihs, including fourteen musnad hadiths. Key Findings: The total number of musnad hadiths mentioning the attribute of Allah's laughter reaches nineteen. Nine of these are deemed acceptable under hadith methodology, while the remainder are classified as rejected, though none are severely weak except for a single hadith. The contexts of these hadiths vary between worldly affairs and scenes of the Hereafter; however, all of them consistently affirm the attribute rather than negate it, and none contain specific restrictive qualifications of its meaning.
