Report of Journal of Islamic Shari’a and Studies for Year 1439AH

In the name of Allah

We thank Allah alone and we pray upon Prophet Mohamed and his family and friends. After greetings, the following is a detailed report on the aspects of the journal’s research and organizational activities:  1438/1439AH

First: A detailed report of the incoming researches to the journal:

This year, the journal received a large number of scientific research from inside and outside the university, both at the level of Saudi universities or Arab universities, and the research movement came according to the following tables:

Table (1) explains the number of researches in the journal, and what came from inside and outside KSA. In addition to the number of rejected, accepted and under-arbitration researches.

Table (2) shows the number of arbitrators, whether they are from the university, from other Saudi universities, or outside the Kingdom, and the number of arbitrators from each gender.

Table (3) shows the numbers of journals issued this year, the number of researches in each number, and the number of researches in each specialty.

Second: Accomplishments.

• Developing electronic applications on the journal's website to receive incoming researches, in lieu of receiving researches in a paper form as was the case before.
• Recording the traffic of received researches in journal by carrying out electronic archiving of these researches. 
• Speeding up research arbitration so that the period between receiving the research and responding to it does not exceed two or three months.
