Abstract
The study aims at collecting and investigating the opinions of Abu Amr Al-Dani on the recitation of Abu Hatim Al-Sijistani with respect to pausing and restarting provisions, in order to explore their opinions and the validity of the argument of each of them. The study adopted the inductive approach, the descriptive analytical approach, and the comparative approach. It came in an introduction in which the most prominent terms contained therein defined, followed by introduction to the both scholars (Al-Sijistani and Al-Dani) then reviewe of the book of Al-Dani titled "Al-Muktafi", after that the opinions of the two scholrs are reviewed in order to draw a conclusion, findings and recommendations. The most notable results of the study are as follows: The number of remarks are sixteen, 13 of them were found valid, and the rest were subject to consideration. Which indicates that Al-Dani's explanations are based on a solid basis, and the study demonstrated the strength of the connection between the sciences of interpretation and grammar and the science of pausing and and restarting in the Qur'an. The study recommended further studies on criticizing and evaluating what was said: it is not permitted to start with. Likewise, to collect what was said: it is permissible to pause at .
