Abstract
The main research idea revolves around explaining the impact of social media on the purpose of the mind. The importance of the research lies in highlighting social media as an influential tool in shaping and directing the mind. The problem of the research revolves around the limits of benefiting from social media, in a way that does not harm the mind's purpose of non-existence from a legal standpoint. Therefore, the research aims to shed light on the impact of the means of communication on the purpose of the mind, and to explain the most important legal controls for it on the other hand, and to the relationship between them according to the theory of permissibility on the third hand. The research relied on the descriptive and inductive approaches. And the comparative analytical approach, and the research ended with a number of results: the reflection of the impact of social media on its ruling, and the difference in its ruling according to the region, as it is permissible to leave part of it, completely required for institutions, preachers and others who use it as a means of benefit, and it is permissible to use part of it according to ethical and legal controls; Therefore, the research recommends the necessity of reflecting the Sharia point of view on the ethics of social communication in legal legislation on the one hand, and the necessity of regulating its personal use in accordance with the provisions and directives of Sharia law on the other hand.
