Abstract
The research aims to achieve two main objectives: firstly, to present the visual ethical communication problem faced by contemporary individuals, and secondly, to address this issue by highlighting the Islamic perspective on lowering the gaze.in addition to examining the customs system and activating it in forming the habit of lowering the gaze in communication. The research method is based on a descriptive and analytical approach which was adopted to describe the existing visual ethical communication problem, then by analyzing , justifying, evaluating it , and linking the reasons to its causes. The research concludes that the command of lowering one’s gaze does not mean avoiding all sight, but rather averting one's gaze from what should not be looked at and what may lead to temptation. It identifies an ongoing visual ethical problem, proposing that the most effective solution lies in utilizing religious texts to cultivate the habit of lowering the gaze by employing facilitating factors such as reviving modesty, seeking strength through supplication, determination, repetition, considering time and place, addressing perceptions, utilizing tools, prioritizing views, removing obstacles, as well as monitoring and rewarding.
