Abstract
A compilation and study of the narratives in the collections of Prophetic Sunnah that mention the use of the term "Physician" (Altabeeb) in reference to Allah, Exalted be He. There are two such hadiths, and they have been studied thoroughly in terms of hadith methodology, including examination of chains of narration (isnads) and texts (matns), along with the application of the rules of hadith scholars and their statements. The goal is to reach a conclusion, supported by evidence, on the validity of this term in reference to Allah, Exalted be He. Should its validity be established through authentic chains of narration, it becomes necessary to clarify this term: whether it is an attribute in reference to Allah or one of His names. The clarification of this term has significant implications, particularly in the worship practices of a believer towards their Lord, especially in the worship of supplication and seeking intercession. Therefore, it was deemed necessary to investigate the validity of this term.
