The overview
The College of Science at Umm Al-Qura University traces its origins to 1981, when it was established as the College of Applied Sciences and Engineering. Over more than four decades, the College has contributed significantly to the advancement of scientific education, research, and innovation. In 2023, the College adopted its current name, reflecting its continued commitment to excellence in the fundamental sciences
Today, the College of Science provides a distinguished academic environment that fosters excellence in education, research, innovation, and community engagement. The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, equipping students with the scientific knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies needed to excel in their careers, pursue advanced studies, and contribute to national development
