The overview
The College of Science was the first scientific college established within the university. Our aim and objective has always been to provide a distinguished academic environment, driven by a single hope: the development of our beloved Kingdom and active participation in its modern renaissance, enabling it to keep pace with the most advanced and progressive nations. We strive to ensure that current and future generations benefit from the fruits of these tireless efforts on a journey toward a brighter future and a more prosperous tomorrow—a journey that never ceases to expand its horizons of knowledge and learning
Based on this vision, and with the unwavering support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques—may God protect him—and the university administration, the college's laboratories have been equipped with state-of-the-art scientific equipment and technologies. Classrooms have been furnished with the latest educational resources, and curricula have been updated to keep pace with modern scientific advancements, all under the supervision of a distinguished faculty. We have also prioritized training to enhance the skills and capabilities of our graduates, enabling them to serve the community and compete effectively in the job market
The Faculty of Science currently comprises four departments in disciplines that represent crucial pillars for any targeted scientific and cultural advancement across various fields, and a true nucleus for any scientific and technological progress. These departments are: the Department of Biology, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Physics, and the Department of Chemistry. These departments award Bachelor's and Master's degrees in their respective fields, and the Departments of Chemistry and Biology also award Doctoral degrees
