Dean’s Honor List Award – 2025
All students applying for the Dean’s Honor List Award are required to carefully review the eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria outlined below. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may result in disqualification or exclusion of certain achievements from evaluation.
To be eligible for application and evaluation, applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
The cumulative GPA must be no less than 3.6 out of 4.0.
The GPA will be calculated strictly based on the official academic transcript issued by the Academic Affairs Office.
Applicants must upload a complete academic transcript covering all years of study, from enrollment until the date of application.
The transcript must clearly show:
All academic semesters
Grades for each course
The final cumulative GPA
The applicant must have:
No failed courses
No academic deprivation
No disciplinary actions throughout their years of study in the College
Applicants are fully responsible for the accuracy of all submitted information and documents.
The Evaluation Committee reserves the right to verify all data and disqualify any application containing inaccurate or misleading information.
⚠️ Important Notice:
Failure to meet any of the above eligibility requirements will result in ineligibility for evaluation, regardless of other achievements.
Applications are evaluated based on eight main criteria, distributed as follows:
GPA is evaluated according to approved scoring bands.
No additional points are awarded for academic honors or distinction, as these are already incorporated within the GPA score.
This criterion includes officially recognized leadership roles, such as:
Batch leader
Section leader
Clinical training leader or simulation training leader
Student representation in College committees or units
Submission of an approved and documented qualitative initiative, supported by an official executive report
Multiple leadership pathways may be combined to complete this criterion. Scores are calculated automatically based on the duration or type of leadership engagement.
This criterion includes:
Internal College activities
Educational activities or events organized within the University (outside the College)
Active participation in student club activities
Teaching or examination-related activities
Hajj and Umrah courses and related activities
⚠️ Activities awarded official volunteer hours must not be included under this criterion.
Includes:
Training courses and workshops
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Attendance of scientific conferences and forums
Educational visits
Non-curricular summer training
Professional certifications and licenses
Includes:
Published or accepted scientific papers affiliated with the College and University
Research presentations at conferences (oral or poster)
Participation as a co-author in ongoing research projects
Participation in research proposals or funded research projects
Participation as a data collector in research studies
