President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas received at his office at the university campus in Abdyia the delegation of  Strathclyde University in Glasgow city, United Kingdom including; Vice Dean of Science College Dr. Nigel Langford, the Head of Computer Department Dr. George Wire and the International Relations Officer Dr. Ibrahim Khadrah. The meeting was attended by Dr. Saud Salim Bawazeer from the college of Pharmacy, Dr. Sami Bawazeer, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ashour and Mr. Salim Abdul Rahim Bawazeer.   

In the beginning, Dr. Assas welcomed the delegation and wished them a fruitful and outstanding visit. After that, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in various research and scientific fields with a number of medical and applied sciences colleges, besides, the cooperation with Wadi Makkah Company.  

 
During the meeting, Dr. Assas honored Dr. Saud Bawazeer from the college of Pharmacy for appointing him as the ambassador of Strathclyde University in the Kingdom. He said that UQU is distinguished by its highly qualified teaching and scientific cadres in all specialties and fields, adding that such honoring comes as no surprise from the affiliates of the university who are towering figures in all fields.   
At the conclusion of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed happiness for the potentials and equipment they have seen in the university and extended their thanks to UQU President for the warm welcome. Then, Dr. Assas honored the visiting delegation.
