The Department of Industrial Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah participated in the inspection visit, conducted by the Division of Industrial Engineering at the Saudi Council of Engineers, to the United Sugar Company (Savola) on Sunday, 02 Rajab 1442 A.H., corresponding to 24 February 2021 A.C. The visit comes within the framework of enhancing the concepts, consolidating scientific theoretical ideas, and linking the industrial engineering students with the reality of the national food industries to achieve knowledge integration in the educational process. The Department of Industrial Engineering was represented on this visit by His Excellency the Chairman of the Plans and Curricula Committee in the department, Dr. Ahmad bin Salim Al-Husani, Dr. Salih bin Mansar Aal Salee, and the students Rayan bin Hassan Al-Umari and Wael bin Ahmad Al-Ghamdi.
At the end of the visit, the representatives of the department expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Division of Industrial Engineering at the Saudi Council of Engineers, represented by the Head of the Division, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Saad Al-Qahtani, and all the team of the Division of Industrial Engineering at the Saudi Council of Engineers, for the good organization and cooperation. They also thanked the United Sugar Company for the lauded hospitality and warm reception, wishing everyone success and progress.
