On Tuesday, 30 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1442 A.H., His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Hatim bin Muhammad Al-Tas, received the annual report of the Department of Chemistry for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H. The report included detailed information about the department and its achievements in the field of education, research, and community service. His Excellency Dr. Hatim praised the efforts and achievements stated in the report.
The report was delivered at the office of His Excellency the Dean of the College in the presence of the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Muataz bin Hashim Murad.
His Excellency the Dean of the College expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts the Department of Chemistry has exerted, and praised the outstanding efforts exerted by the department during the exceptional period of the Coronavirus pandemic. He added that the report has an administrative benefit, as it will help in devising work plans to develop the department.
The Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Muataz Murad, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Hatem Al-Tas, for his continuous support toward the department.
