The General Administration of Digital Transformation, during the coming period, is preparing to launch its leading digital platform, Falak. It is one of the initiatives participating in the Makkah Cultural Forum in its fifth season under the slogan: ‘How to Be a Role Model in the Digital World'.
The ‘Falak’ platform targets younger generations, creating meaningful content that contributes to developing their technical, social and artistic skills, and building up their personalities and identities for them to be good citizens, representing their homelands in the external digital community.
The Supervisor of the General Administration of Digital Transformation, Dr. Hanaa Yamani, explained that the scarcity of safe options in the industry of digital content for the rising generations is one of the reasons behind establishing a leading digital platform that can contain all their participations and direct their creative energies in a way compatible with the moral standards and values of the Islamic community.
Dr. Yamani stressed the pivotal role played by the platform in promoting a culture of digital citizenship and developing a love of learning social and technical skills. The aim is to raise an educated generation that is led by knowledge and a love of development, in a safe digital environment.
