As part of a series of courses offered to raise the capabilities of the graduate students and provide them with scientific research skills, the Department of Biology at the College of Applied Sciences (female section) has organized a course entitled: “How to Read a Scientific Paper”. The course will be presented by Dr. Hanan Othman, Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, on Thursday, 19 Nov. 2020 A.C., corresponding to 4 Rabi` Al-Thani 1442 A.H., from 6 to 8 PM.

Number of hours: Two hours.

1. Shedding light on the most important science search engines and how they work.
2. What are the contents of the research and how to read their various parts?
3. How to summarize the research after reading it.
4. Elements and process of writing a research plan.
5. Setting the methodology that the researcher will follow in the master's thesis.
